No, the chalet is only accessible by a private, dead-end road. It is therefore perfectly quiet and has no busy road nearby.

No it is not necessary. The cottage has 2 private parking spaces, a garage, not to mention the spaces also available in the co-ownership. And if necessary, Vaujany has several free covered parking spaces.

In the cottage you will find several equipment for babies and toddlers at your disposal : a cot with its mattress, a stroller, a potty, a toilet diverter, a booster seat for chair, a night light. So you won’t need to overload the trunk.

WARNING, do not book your ski pass via the SATA website, otherwise you will be forced to activate your ski pass at the Alpe d’Huez resort. You wouldn’t be able to take the Vaujany cable car.

The Skidh cottage is also ideal during summer. You will have access to all the exteriors and to the large terrace which has a lot of equipment: plancha, large garden lounge, table and chairs, parasol… Enough to fully enjoy the long summer evenings.

In the garage you will have access to several 220V sockets to be able to recharge several bikes or electrically assisted mountain bikes. But don’t forget to bring your chargers.

Of course we do. You will be able to fully enjoy your rides in the mountains by being able to shelter your bikes in the garage. You will also have at your disposal a repair kit, a foot pump and a repair stand. And to keep it always clean, a high pressure cleaner is also stored in the garage.

The Cottage has 10 fixed beds. An 11th person is however possible because in the children’s room there is a drawer bed which contains a single mattress. If this person agrees to sleep on a mattress on the floor then it is possible to sleep 11 people.

No, the cottage is not smoking friendly. We also ask you not to put your cigarette butts in the garbage cans inside the cottage so as not to spread the smell of tobacco. And of course not to throw your cigarette butts on the ground.

No, animals, even adorable ones, are not accepted in the cottage.

No, Chalet Skidh is an individual chalet with no interior spaces shared with other chalets.

The keys are handed over from 4.30pm on the day of arrival. They must be returned before 10am on the day of departure.

Yes, online payment by credit card is fully secure. After payment of the deposit or the balance of the reservation, you will also automatically receive an invoice confirming your payment.

Up to 30 days before your arrival, the cancellation will be charged 30% of the amount of the rental, i.e. the totality of the deposit paid. Less than 30 days before arrival, the cancellation will be charged 100% of the rental amount.

In case of lockdown or closure of the ski lifts related to covid-19 during the dates scheduled for the stay, the deposit or all payments made will be refunded. This is the only case of reimbursement.
